Digital twin - engineering

At BBC Bircher Automation, we use digital twins created in EPLAN software to ensure precision and efficiency at all stages of the project. This approach allows us to simulate, analyze, and optimize the performance of control cabinets before manufacturing, minimizing the risk of errors and increasing overall efficiency.

Purchasing

Based on data from the digital twin created in EPLAN software, we optimize our material requirements. This digital approach streamlines the purchasing process, ensures cost efficiency, timely availability of materials, and perfect alignment with production schedules.

Intralogistics Operations

In intralogistics, digital twin technology facilitates the real-time tracking and visualization of goods within a warehouse, improving accuracy in inventory management. Pre-Assembly and Assembly

Our programm uses the step-by-step method to reduce assembly times and errors. Miream ensrues that every component is installed correctly and in the right place according to the specificaiton.

Labelling and component marking

Using a digital twin ensures accuracy in part identification and tracking throughout the production process. It simulates the marking process to find the most efficient methods and placement, reducing material waste and improving readability.

Cable Harnessing

Cable harnessing involves the assembly of wires and connectors into a single unit, providing organized and protected electrical connections for various applications. Customers benefit from 3D models of cable harnessing as they enable visualizing and optimizing wire routing, ensuring proper fit and avoiding interference in complex assemblies, ultimately reducing installation time and improving system reliability.

Wiring

Based on data from the digital twin created in EPLAN software, we connect wires to the correct locations. This model precisely determines where each wire belongs, ensuring correct and efficient connections. The digital twin helps us prevent errors and optimize the entire installation process.

Testing

In our production process, each control cabinet undergoes rigorous physical testing conducted by our internal technician team to ensure functionality and compliance with quality standards. Sending Out

When the final product is ready for dispatch, meeting all quality and operational standards, we carefully pack it and send it to the customer, ensuring it meets their timeline criteria.
